Why, Leonard Cohen, of course. This Canadian poet and songwriter was born in Montreal in 1934; he has contributed timeless wisdom and beauty to many lives. Lately I’ve noticed the huge number of fans who love the song Alleluia written by Leonard Cohen some years ago. He has dozens of amazing songs; among other talents, he is an effective guide through the darkness which we all experience from time to time in our lives.
A couple of years ago, I heard him in concert. He had the best musicians and he was the most respectful performer that I’ve seen, introducing his team with such a beautiful reverence. He was doing this concert tour because a business manager had stolen most of his funds, and we all benefited from the crime that had been done. To see Leonard Cohen as a man over 70–it truly was remarkable.
Perhaps this wonderful concert tour was an example of light getting in through a crack. Inspiration is all around us, but in some people, it is a little more concentrated.
Take a listen.
Now that I’ve got this in here, I’m gonna have to listen to it again.
Cheers,
Julie
